The site is finally live! It’s taken quite awhile to get it to this point, mainly due to everything going on in real life: work, family, paid gigs, etc. But finally, here it is. There are some areas of the site that still need a little work, but I figured we are 95% there, so why not just get the site up and work out the details and add more content over time.
The members section is not really developed yet, so that’s a page to watch in the future. In the meantime, check out the news posts and galleries of images. Also be sure to check out the events calendar. I hope we can keep it updated with the most current activities and deadlines for submitting art for our anthologies and everything else. In the past there has been a lot of question related to when things need to be turned in and when to submit art for our group projects. The calendar will help us keep everyone informed.
The email sign-up form on the home page and the “contact us” should be fully operational now. I am working on getting a database hooked up so we can easily manage the distribution lists for when we send out email updates and stuff. We might need everyone to go back and re-submit email addresses in the future, but I have not yet figured out the best plan of attack to help prevent anyone (i.e. me!) from inputting everyone’s contact info. So look for a future update on our existing email list for that one.
We are also looking for an easy system to manage email subscriptions. So if you ever need to remove your email from the list for any reason, we can have an easy D-I-Y system in place.
